skills to good co-operation in the Adriatic Region
The project „By the exchange of experiences, knowledge and skills to good co-operation in the Adriatic Region“ has been designed as a project of developmental help for neighbouring developing countries, through the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and promotion of cross-border co-operation.
The main obbjectives of this project are strengthening the cross-border co-operation that has a great significance for development of the entire Adriatic region, education for unemployed persons, stimulation of self-employment , stimulation of the autochthonous products creation out of available local resources which , besides tourist purposes and promotion of the county, could be additional income for the families. This will also enable the decrease of poverty.
Within this project we would like to use DESA’s 15 years long experience in development of civil society, numerous projects and activities implemented during that period of time, as well as knowlledge and experiences acquired, in order to help other developing countries, in this case Montenegro and Albania.
Direct beneficiaries of this project are primarily unemployed women from Gornja Lastva, Kotor and Skhodra, but also the entire population of these places, who would like to be involved in entreprenurship. The indirect beneficiaries of this project are local communities from Gornja and Donja Lastva , Tivat, Kotor and Skhodra, visitors and Dubrovnik –neretva county as well, that will have the neighbours who are working, developing and taking care of the better future.
